Its method is based on chunks, thus it has very weak grammar. However, the software is sophisticated. Would be interesting for those who are curious about many different languages.

... However it is not. Learning a language is pretty difficult on its own, and most applications for that matter, understands that. Language coach has a lot of phrases that you can learn -- but it is presented in a way that you could get frustrated easily. The coaches speak very fast, which makes it hard to understand what they are pronouncing. The huge catalog of words makes it worthwhile, but not for a whooping 10$.

I will be visiting France next year and want to become as fluent as possible. I studied French all though elementary and high school and can definitely say this app is perfect for beginners or intermediate learners. What I especially like about it is that it allows you to learn on the go. I can now work on my French during my morning subway commute. Definitely worth the money.

Not possible to learn a language with this app. It mut be a joke!!! This app is like a game for kids. I want my money back!!!

I took Italian classes before and now I refresh my memory and I learn a lot of new words. It is a great app. Now I will also refresh the other languages I know :) This learning method is fantastic and the amount of 23 languages is absolutely amazing.

I travel a lot for business. For me this app is excellent. I can learn while traveling at any time and everywhere. This flashcard drill concept with the different levels is really an entertaining way of learning. Its Wonderful!

Its really got a lot of languages and a lot of words, its got images to go with the words/phrases and it speaks everything. It does not appear to go on-line to get the audio (if it does, its really quick). So its great, IMHO. Someone mentioned that its for kids, while the graphics are simple, theyre more than adequate, and I think it enhacnes the learning. If the menus were set up slightly different and you had a way to make some bookmarks/favorites it could be a great reference tool, but as a learning tool I think it would get to be a bit monotonous to go through all the work.

This is a really good app. Its so easy to use and I am learning quickly. Its an easy way to learn a language:)

This is really a good app for every one who are interested to learn foreign language.This app wont make you proficient in the foreign language, but atleast we will have some understanding about the language they speak and communicate in our way. I like their learning method. Definitely a good buy.

I didnt find that the app would teach me a new language. I felt I was able to brush up on a language that I already learned. What I did like was the availability of many different languages on one app. I also liked hearing the words pronounced. I always wondered how certain languages sounded. Having the translation during the audio made for a nice learning experience.

Without considering the price I would say this app has a decent interface and makes traveling a lot easier. It has most countries and everything you need to survive as well as spoken pronunciation.

The phrases are sorted into convenient categories and the app overall looks well polished, but the price is a little high (even considering all the work that went into this). Overall good app.

Emphasis is on rote memory. Teaches nothing about the structure of the language. Not useful.

The most used phrases in daily life. Very helpful in developing speaking skills. I recommend!

I use it for learning Italian. Easy, interesting, effective app for just 2 bucks! Learning doesnt annoy! Very good, indeed!

First off, I really like this app! But, there could be some improvements.... 1. More sections!!! Maybe a Family section, or a In the House section, or a School, Music, and a Entertainment section. Also, a Sports section would be nice. 2. Add some African languages, like Swahili. Thats all. I hope you consider my suggestions. Until then, this app stays at four stars.
